PhD in History from the University of Barcelona (UB) in 2014 with the thesis: Afghanistan after 2001, Peace and Reconstruction, directed by Antoni Segura Mas and Victor Gavin. Master in International Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2006 and a degree in Humanities from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in 2004. He realized a postgraduate in Research Methodology at the University of Barcelona (UB) in 1994 and another in community health in developing countries at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 1992. Professionally he has worked in the field of humanitarian aid, including in developing countries in Africa, Asia and Central America.

Afghanistan is an old unsolved conflict. It faced the colonial order of the nineteenth century until gained the British independence in 1919. In the late seventies (1979) suffered the invasion of the Soviet Union facing the order of the great powers, which extended to new territories not only to wining geostrategic positions but also to spread their ideologies.
